Secluded but close to a lot, Cold Springs resort offers much to the vacationer, including an outdoor pool and a 40 foot long indoor with hot tub/whirlpool, a recreation room, a workout room, a playground with scheduled children's activities, plus hiking trails. Golf is available at the White Mountain Country Club next to Cold Springs Resort.
Clean and spacious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units are available. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a dining room or dining area. A screened-in porch provides additional living space. All units also feature air conditioning, washer and dryer, cable TV and DVD, and a fireplace.
At the geographical center of New Hampshire is Ashland, which is also in the Lakes District of the state and is adjacent to the White Mountain National Forest. The area is the proverbial winter wonderland, but in all seasons provides the vacationer with beautiful views, such as those found at Little Squam Lake, the original lake of On Golden Pond. It also delivers outdoor recreations, dining, antiquing, and shopping. The Ashland area is just a scenic hour's drive to majestic Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 feet.
