While the local team at El Faro and the municipality do a great job in cleaning it up, it can affect your ability to enjoy the beach and the ocean, so please make yourself aware of the current state of the seaweed, as we cannot offer refunds for issues related to seaweed.
- Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,000. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.

Summary: Wonderful overall!! Only a short walk to 5th avenue and the ferry to Cozumel. Perfect for families. The kids loved the pool, and we had enough space to all be comfortable. Getting in when we first got there was a bit difficult, probably because we all had "travel brain". The keypad to get in was dark and you need to put a palm on it to light it up and activate it.
