Summary: Our family of three (parents and teenager) and our friends, another family of same configuration, stayed for two nights over Memorial Day weekend at Malu’s place. There were three rooms, two baths and a hot tub on the porch. We enjoyed our stay and we were able to do the activities we normally do when our families get together for the weekend. The host was welcoming and responded right away to our questions and requests. In fact, our rating of the experience would have been perfect if not for the glitches that we had to reach out to her to address. There was no coffee maker (and the one we got later did not work), no bath soaps and only two bath towels and a used one was hanging at the back of a bedroom door, there was no dish sponge in the kitchen. The host was quick to respond, noting that she has a new housekeeping staff. These things can happen and, in the overall picture, did not mar our experience. As I said, it just would have been better if these hiccups didn’t even happen.
