Summary: Nice quiet area, good local bar five minutes walk, train to Boston five minutes walk. South Station is where the train arrives and the airport bus leaves from, so that makes it easy. Friendly host, everything you need if you don’t want to pay high downtown Boston hotel costs and want to live somewhere quiet without being too far away.
