Summary: The room was well cleaned, other than the old dirty looking carpet, mattresses was not is good condition. The mattress was covered but had black spots under the cover.
Clean towels and sheets were delivered upon request.
After staying 2 nights my boyfriend ended up in the hospital for a week with pneumonia. The same day I was diagnosed with an ear and sinus infections and rash on my back, stomach, and legs.
After packing up my last morning I discovered black bugs all over our cloths, bags, and blankets.
I had to take all of our items to a laundry mat and treat my car for bugs.
I missed several day of work due to being sick. The stress of the bugs and missing work triggered my autoimmune disease to flare resulting in loosing my job.
I contacted the hotel and requested a refund due to the bug infestation but never heard back from the owner.

Summary: The room was cleaned well, but smell of smoke, fresh sheets, and towels were dropped off when requested.
After staying two nights my boyfriend ended up in the hospital for a week with pneumonia, I got an ear and sinus infection the same day. All of our clothes, bags, and blankets were covered with small black bugs.
I had to take everything to the laundromat, and had to treat my car for bugs. I ended up missing several days of work due to a rash that started on my 3rd and final night. The stress from missing work, spending time and money at a laundromat, made my autoimmune disease flare resulting in me loosing my job.
The staff was friendly. I called about a refund but never heard back from the owner.

Summary: We loved our night at Captain Cove. It was so nostalgic of my family road trips as a kid. Yes, it's very 80's Roadside Motel inside the rooms, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and my kids LOVED the pool. Quick walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants around. You can also grill in their adorable courtyard. Would definitely go back!

Summary: I booked 2 rooms when I checked in the desk clerk said they only had a reservation for 1 room. They did accommodate me for another but if they couldn't i'd have been really pissed
