Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hostel is in a great location and we loved being in our room with the private terrace. We spend a lot of time there, cooking and hanging out. The view was gorgeous.

Negative: Based on other reviews we knew to expect a lot of noise and we can absolutely confirm that it's insanely loud at this location. The other guests were quite calm during our stay, the main sources for noise were a rooster, fighting dogs, fireworks, church services and music that were blasted through a megaphone. Nothing that the accommodation is responsible for, just something to take into account when booking. Other towns around the lake seemed a bit calmer. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of equipment in the kitchen (both private and shared) - there were no sponges for cleaning, no oil, salt or pepper for basic cooking. The shared kitchen generally seemed to be in a bad state. While we were staying there, the other travelers didn't seem very sociable.
