Summary: My family prefers to stay in local, minimalist settings so we were looking forward to trying this unique hotel near several cenote parks. Unfortunately this place was extremely uncomfortable and we would definitely not stay there again. The shipping container rooms are quite rundown and poorly maintained. Our room was facing a completely burned out building. The rooms were terribly humid our entire stay - the bedding was damp and even with the air conditioning running, all of our clothing became damp. There was no wifi, tons of mosquitos and a cockroach in the bathroom. On a positive note, we were able to rent bikes, the pool was decently maintained and the light breakfast was fine. I am disappointed that I can’t give a better review but this stay was so uncomfortable we were all happy to get out of there when it was time to check out.
