Summary: First, remember that this is downtown Oakland, which is where I wanted to be to avoid the legendary Bay-area traffic. I was working downtown and this place was very convenient, about 10 mins from the downtown core. The property is on a busy street, but the garage makes parking a breeze. I am very aware of the "issues" one can encounter in urban Oakland, but I had absolutely no issues and have only great things to share about my experience at this location.Once you step inside, you are in a peaceful, tastefully decorated oasis that has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is obvious that the owners have taken great care to provide everything a traveler needs, including a comfortable bed, great WiFi, a large TV, and an amazing shower. The kitchen had all the essentials and I really appreciate having a full kitchen to prepare my meals. If you want to avoid traffic, and be close to downtown Oakland, you won't find a more comfortable or convenient location than this! I strongly recommend for business travel, or pleasure. Either way you will enjoy this space.
