Summary: I wish I could rate this property higher, as the owners are very sweet and communicative. Unfortunately, the price was not reflective of the value. Our check in/out process was smooth, the proximity to 4th festivities was great; however, the home needs a lot of TLC and was very overpriced for the holiday. There were many basic needs that fell short or were unmet- the hot water did not work downstairs, one of the bedroom doors didn’t close all of the way, two of the AC units didn’t blow cold air, and the mattresses were hard and springy. Aesthetically, the home was unwelcoming- there was spackle on the walls, a broken stair rail, scratched and beat up furniture, bare walls. I’m hopeful the owners will make these improvements, as again, they are lovely. It could be so much more and has the potential. The home is 2 stars, the owners are 5
