Summary: This place is such a gem! My Partner & I needed a place where I could work remotely while he took care of some business in Elgin. It was clean, updated, quiet, peaceful, and offered amazing views and scenery. We prepared and ate all meals in the home, and it was equipped with all the basics you need. We had a tense game of Scrabble going the entire visit. The solitude and quiet were just what we needed! We saw plenty of wildlife from the comfort of the home, which was rich in natural light. We opened the blinds each morning and saw deer, hummingbirds, cows, squirrels and gorgeous sunsets. The views all day long were worth the stay alone. The last night, while washing dishes, three young male deer ran right in front of our window. I felt like Snow White! I will definitely stay here again if I am back in the area. Thank you, Katie, for being such a gracious host.
