Summary: This property was affordable, and had some redeeming and detracting features. The beds and sitting areas were comfortable and there was enough room that I, my husband, and my two kids could have a relative amount of privacy. The pull out futon where my 8 year old slept was in an enclosed sun-room type area that smelled very musty. He didn’t seem to mind, but I would not have been able to sleep there. The development was well maintained and quiet. Due to the short duration of our stay and the COVID restrictions, we were not able to enjoy the pool, but it looked nice. We were excited to take advantage of some of the included activities such as the tennis court and free DVD rental. Unfortunately, the DVD player in the unit was broken and the key to the tennis courts we were given at check-in did not open the lock on the tennis court. When I called the rental company about these issues, they told me there was nothing they could do about either issue, and they would get back to me. I never received a call back. Also, we brought our bicycles down with the intention of biking to the beach. The property was advertised as ‘a short bike ride to the beach’. The property is only about 1.5 mi from the beach...but that is a private beach. To get to the public beach you have to go another mile or so along a fairly busy road. We opted to drive to the beach. In the end, we had an enjoyable family beach vacation, with just a few disappointments.
