With a rich history dating back to the original construction when it was a featured home for the August 1928 edition of House Beautiful, the estate was designed by Ilonka Karasz, iconic artist of 200 New Yorker covers and co-founder of MOMA. It was later converted to a wellness center, and more recently, has been fully restored back to a stunning single-family residence. A grand foyer opens to the vaulted living area complete with a stunning fireplace and sliding doors that lead to the garden terrace. The dining area is complete with a stunning wet bar and easy access to the lofted and newly renovated chef's kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, oversized windows, and a stunning granite island. A winding hallway leads to ten fully renovated bedrooms, five of which boast en-suite baths. A mural of St. Andrew and the Seven Fishes was discovered and restored from behind a wall and is now grandly displayed on an 18' concrete slab in the primary bedroom.
