Summary: The property has so much potential and the host/care taker is friendly. However, we had multiple issues during our brief stay. We were set to stay all 8 nights but we left on day 4 since the water was off inside the house (2nd time in the 4 day stay) and the electricity went out - meaning no air conditioning, no lights, etc. The food that we purchased spoiled in the refrigerator due to the length of the black out. Earlier in our stay, we were met with 3 lizards inside the house (2 in the bedrooms and 1 in the living room). We got over that quickly since we understand that it’s the middle of the jungle; however, the additional inconveniences just put us over the edge. The road to the hotel is quite bumpy and I would suggest a bigger SUV type car for your stay. Additionally, make sure you have everything you need prior to calling it a night. There aren’t any restaurants or convenience stores nearby. As nice as it may seem, I wouldn’t stay here again.
