The Space:
Mareazul is a tropical haven. It’s stunning and beautiful every which way you turn, and it’s off the beaten path, a bit north of downtown Playa del Carmen, but still close enough to 5th Avenue, where you can start far north and walk, cycle or take a 5-10 min taxi ride or drive to a prime spot on 5th Ave, lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, live music and more.

Guest Access:
You’ll have full, exclusive access to the condo during your stay. You can also enjoy all the on-site amenities on site, like the pool, two restaurants, private beach, tennis courts, gym & spa services, mini-mart, hammock gardens & lush and expansive tropical grounds.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the absolutely stunning Mareazaul Beach Resort Community, which is on the north end of Playa del Carmen, about a 5-10 minute taxi ride to the prime spots of the famous 5th Avenue. There you’ll find block after block of restaurants, cafes, bars, live music venues, great nightlife, rooftop pools, and some of the best shopping in the world!
Playa offers beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, stand-up paddle boarding, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (freshwater sinkholes special to this area!), private yacht & fishing charters, golf, day trips to Tulum or Cancun and more! The island of Cozumel is just a 45-minute ferry ride!

Getting Around:
The condo is located in Mareazul, about 53 km | 33 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN). Please check your mobile map apps when you arrive, as driving time varies based on the time of day. When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s a free dedicated parking spot for you.
If you're not renting a car, then it's best to pre-arrange airport transportation.
Also, if you’re driving around downtown Playa, be aware there are PARKING METERS in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. You have to look for the parking kiosk, pay, and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard.
For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.
Other Things to Note:
We provide a few basic essentials when you arrive, like soap and toilet paper. Just please note that these are not replenished during your stay.
For short-term reservations (2-29 nights) electricity is included. For reservations of 30 nights or more, electricity is not included and there is a fixed fee.
Long-term stays are available. There’s Wi-Fi & laptop-friendly workspaces around the condo, so it’s ideal for the remote worker.
For a 1 month rental or more, the guest must pay for 2 cleaning services per month at a cost of $40 USD per cleaning.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Surveillance cameras are located in outdoor common areas & public spaces. The surveillance cameras are strictly for security reasons to ensure guests' safety.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed inside the condo, and the use of any recreational drugs on the property is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise will not be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning expenses if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters will be required to provide a government ID during check-in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
- We ask that you please use the safe box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property, but you must first stop at two gates to show your ID and let the security guard know where you're going. There is one guarded gate upon entry to the Corasol community and another upon entry to Mareazul. The doors to the building and to the condo have keyless entry with digital codes. These access codes will be sent to you before arrival.
