Mareazul is a tropical haven. It’s stunning in every direction you turn. It’s off the beaten path, a bit north of downtown Playa del Carmen, but still close enough to the north end of 5th Avenue, where you can walk, cycle, or take a 5-min taxi ride to a prime spot on La Quinta Avenida (5th Ave), a 5-miles pedestrian walk street lined with restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, live music venues, vibrant malls, street performers, and more.

Plus, there are tons to see and do; everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, stand-up paddle boarding, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private yacht tours and fishing charters, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun and more! The island of Cozumel is just a 45-minute ferry ride!

Getting Around:
The condo is located in Mareazul, about 53 km | 33 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), however, check your mobile map apps when you arrive, as driving time varies depending on the time of day. When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s a free assigned parking spot available for this condo. If you're not renting a car then it's best to pre-arrange airport transportation. If you need help with that, please let us know, we can help arrange that for you.
Also, if you’re driving around Playa, be aware there are PARKING METERS in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. You have to look for the parking kiosk, pay, and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard.
Other Things to Note:
Electricity is included for short-term stays (2-27 nights). To help save energy, we ask that you keep the AC temperature at25°C and turnit off each time you leave. Electricity is not included for long-term rentals (28 nights or more). Instead, you'll be charged based on the meter reading at check-in and check-out. The rate is proportionate to the number of days stayed.
There is no daily housekeeping service, but a cleaning service can be requested for an extra fee.
There are some basic essentials provided to get you started like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, hand and body soap.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Surveillance cameras are located in outdoor common areas & public spaces. The surveillance cameras are strictly for security reasons to ensure guests' safety.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (smoking or cannabis) is allowed inside the condo, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charges related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on check-in day or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed unless there is prior authorization and an extra fee may apply if such is given.
- Please avoid hanging towels or clothes on the balcony railings.
- It is requested to use the safe box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
- Pool and common area regulations must to be respected. The use of speakers/musical devices in common areas is prohibited. Glasses, glass bottles, food, and coolers are not allowed in the pool. Disposable or plastic glasses are ok.
Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property but you must first stop at two gates to show your ID and let the security guard know where you're going. There is one guarded gate upon entry to Corasol community and another upon entry to Mareazul. The door to the building and to the condo have keyless entry with digital codes. These access codes will be sent to you.
