Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Posada Siam Kaan. After a long travel day, followed by a long walk across town (and being offered every service and “item” under the sun), our arrival at the hotel was met with a sigh of relief. Despite being only half a block from Quinta Ave, the interior grounds are a welcome and tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle outside. Staff are unbelievably sweet and friendly, there’s a lovely little quasi-cenote, beautiful trees and the sounds of birds in the morning. Water is available on-site, as well as a small pool. The room is spacious and comfortable, a nice shower, and good AC. No means of heating water/coffee in the room, a kettle would not go amiss. We would love to stay at this location again, if the winds of chance ever blew us back to Playa del Carmen…
