PLUS the Wi-Fi was just upgraded! Ideal for the remote worker. It has 70 Mbps download & 9 Mbps upload speed. You'll find nice laptop-friendly workspace in the apartment or work up on the roof terrace while working on your tan!
There are lovely little details throughout as well to remind you you’re in the Yucatan: natural stone basin sinks, tropical wood built-ins, and (of course) that Mexican sun streaming in your windows!
But it wouldn’t be your ideal home in Playa if it wasn’t close to the main attraction - the beautiful beach! Walk there in less than 5 minutes.
Guest Access:
You’ll have exclusive access to the condo, private balcony and the rooftop terrace with sun loungers & nice views of Playa. At the moment, spa tub is out of order. And you can also enjoy the complex pool and shaded terrace w/table and chairs.
The Neighborhood:
You’ll be right across the street from the town square (El Zócalo), 2 blocks from 5th Avenue and steps from Walmart and Mega supermarkets. You can get to the beach and beach clubs like Zenzi or Lido in 3 blocks (a 5-min walk) and there is plenty of nightlife around like Coco Bongo or Mandala, both within walking distance of the condo! You’ll find no shortage of great restaurants. Here are some of our nearby favorites: La Famiglia, Bovinos and Comet 984 Vegan Diner!
Getting Around:
The condo is about a 50-min drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), when there’s no traffic! If driving, please check your map app for accurate driving time when you arrive. The best way to arrive is to prearrange transportation or a rental car. If you need help with arranging transport from the airport, let us know. We’d be happy to help!
Other Things to Note:
At the moment, the rooftop spa tub is out of order until further notice. You can still go up to lounge and enjoy the view.
Additional Services: We are happy to assist you with other arrangements for a worry-free vacation, like weekly cleaning, airport transfers, tour info, top picks discount card, Pack n’ Play, and more. All of these services can be booked prior to your arrival.
We provide a few essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive: drinking water, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Please note that these will not be refilled during your stay- if you would like to arrange grocery delivery, just let us know!
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 28 days or more. A meter reading will be recorded on the day of your arrival and then again on the day of your check out. Electricity for long-term stays is charged at a fixed rate of $5.22 pesos per kwh. The consumption will be charged through the booking platform or deducted from your security deposit. Please use the AC wisely and be sure to turn it off when not at home.
Please note that this property is situated on a busy intersection and you may hear street noise or noise from the bar/club just a few doors down.
House Rules:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the condo, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $200 penalty.
- No parties/events or illegal activity permitted. It's a family-oriented condo. No excessive noise or loud music, especially after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Pets are not allowed unless there is prior authorization and an extra fee may apply if such is given.
- Please avoid hanging towels or clothes on the balcony/terrace railings.
- It is requested to use the safe box for all your valuables. We are not responsible for any loss or theft.
- Pool and common area regulations and opening hours have to be respected.
