Very cozy, modern and clean. The carpet and hard floor is new and clean throughout. There is a master bedroom with a shower and shallow bath. A generous, fully stocked kitchen. SUPER comfy couch and a hideaway TV ;-)
BEST LOCATION EVER! You will feel like you're in the middle of nowhere in the country and yet just a short drive to everything. It doesn't matter what you enjoy this area for, we are central to it all.
15-20 minutes from both skiing at Monarch
15-20 minutes to soaking at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.
10-35 minutes to world class snowmobiling.
10-35 minutes to lots of world class kayaking, whitewater rafting, fishing, SUP'ing and other water sports
5-45 minutes to literally 1000's of hiking trails, BLM land and National forest land
5 minutes to Walmart
8 minutes to the vibrant downtown / oldtown Salida with it's shops, locally/chef owned remarkable restaurants and eateries, art district, ice-cream, locally owned shops, amphitheater etc etc
The 'garage' or Bunk Room area of our toy hauler is at the back of RV and can be closed off to the rest of the unit. This area can be used as a second dining room, or the electronic beds can be moved down to provide two queen beds. There is also a bunk that will fit a child up to 10-12 yrs old (depending on size). It also has a half bath.
** Please note that although there is MUCH more space than if you were at an RV park, the front of the unit is approximately 100 yds from our home. Although we have 36 acres before we have any neighbors, and would love to park it anywhere on the acreage... It has to be close enough for us to have tied the hook-ups into the existing infrastructure so that you can enjoy hot showers, electricity, air conditioning, WIFI and more. There have been a comments or two about it's proximity. Everyone that I have spoken to hasn't had any problems with it, and we tend to give you your space by staying away from the RV area unless you need us. Like I said... 99% of people don't mind it. But, just in case you are one of the 1%- you have been forewarned!! ;-)
