Summary: Parking is a challenge in Nevada City, especially on a weekend, any holiday, or the recent Christmas Sundays. The stairs are very steep, so watch where you are stepping as they are not the standard rise/run of a modern staircase. The shower was a tepid temperature, which is a mixing valve issue, as the sinks had normal hot water temperatures. It’s the history of the building and most of Nevada City that creates this charm here. Overall it was a nice quick overnight stay for NYE.
