Summary: We rented this house during the last week of August and loved it. It was spacious and clean and the host was lovely. I was able to contact her with any concerns. We loved walking to the nearby pond (not handicapped accessible in case your husband has a walker like mine) and listening to the owls hoot in the woods after dinner. The location was excellent being halfway between Damariscotta and New Harbor where we walked the Pemaquid Loop every day. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking too. One thing to know is that the TV is upstairs- which is fine for most families and the internet worked well too. Also- some sap fell on the top of our car overnight - which was easily removed using hand sanitizer- so you should park away from the trees.
