Positive: We had a relaxing long weekend at Uculiba over Easter and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable—just one block from the beautiful, wide beach and a short 5-minute walk to the restaurants and shops in Centro. It’s also only a 20-minute drive to the biosphere where we saw flamingoes! The house had everything we needed, and being pet-friendly was a huge bonus. Our dog Fluffie loved lounging with us under a palapa at the beach—there are several vendors to choose from, and they were all welcoming. Jedrek, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He offered great local recommendations and checked in daily to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood felt very safe, walkable, and friendly. A perfect spot for a laid-back beach getaway!
