Please note this neighborhood is still under development and not all roads are paved. There are some active construction works in the neighboring properties of the villa that may cause some noise in the house during regular working hours.
While staying in the La Veleta neighborhood of Tulum, we highly recommend exploring the area by bike or scooter for an authentic and convenient experience. Tulum is a bike-friendly town with bike paths and bike racks on main avenues, making it an eco-friendly and enjoyable way to get around. If you plan to discover the town and visit the nearby cenotes, a bike or scooter will be your best companion.
However, if you're looking to explore destinations beyond Tulum, like Akumal, Valladolid, Bacalar, or other more distant cenotes, renting a car is the most practical option. It gives you the freedom to travel at your own pace and visit these incredible places comfortably.
