Summary: We enjoyed the house, it’s nice but we ran out of hand soap, dish soap, and kept losing internet. We had to buy paper towels because there was a scant amount on the roll when we got there. We wasn’t able to access the waterfront due to huge logs, trash and trees that have washed up. It’s too much for us to try and clean up just to get in with a kayak. Our dog kept getting sticker burs in her paws from the grown up weeds in the yard. My husband did fix the gas grill from a previous tenant that used charcoal in it. It does work and it’s clean now. The propane tanks were empty so we had to go into town to get one. The nice host did reimburse us for that. The stovetop was dirty and we did find that cleaner and so we got it looking new again. There are no cleaning supplies there so we wasn’t really able to clean but with water. Usually all that stuff is available so that was a bit frustrating!We really feel like we paid too much for all the trouble inconveniences we encountered. We left a day early since some of the stated amenities were not available or accessible.
