The space
Perfectly situated on a triangular shaped one-acre lot, this custom home was built by a prominent Tucson anesthesiologist. He spared no expense in design or materials and lived here for 25-years. The tri-level decks overlook the pool and face Mount Lemon and city lights below. These decks at least double the living space and 10X enjoyment.
Completely remodeled in 2019, all rooms are modern, clean and roomy. In 2021 we installed two built-in HVAC air scrubbers that use photocatalytic oxidation technology and negative ionization to sterilize and freshen indoor air. After the COVID scare, we wanted the best technology we could find to neutralize bacteria & virus threat. Our maids clean our rooms like crazy and our technology scrubs the air 24-7 for your peace of mind. Guest tell us our house smells fresh....like just before or after a rain.
Rooms include 2-large bedrooms, a super modern stone shower bathroom, a very large Kitchen with Island Bar for casual dining, a large living room, a combination TV room and workout room with treadmill, yoga mats and weights, formal dining room and spacious portico entry way.
The front yard faces west to the Spanish Peaks. The backyard faces east toward Mount Lemon. Perfect for sunrise & sunset viewing. The backyard is fenced and home to the curvy infinity pool. The hot tub is heated between the hours of 7PM and 10PM.
The backyard also houses our unique tri-level decking that doubles the size of the house and worth the price of admission. Pool level, Main level and upper level. If you're a fitness type, it really doesn't get any better than outdoor yoga or stretching by the pool as the sunrises. Suntan in the late morning and afternoon. The main deck is closest to the kitchen and living room. You are never more than a few steps away from outdoor viewing, dining or refreshments. The upper deck is magical at night during and after sunset as the stars come out. Try this rather than TV or the news and watch your blood pressure drop and smiles increase.
Guest access
Two driveways towards the front of the home. Plenty of parking for your vehicle. Having a flashlight is very helpful when coming home at night in the dark. A flashlight is also helpful for walking to the hot tub at night. Please bring a flashlight.
Other things to note
Located in the North West part of Tucson, we are 5-minutes from the I-10 Freeway. Fry's grocery store and the Arizona Pavilions Shopping and restaurant area are 7-minutes away by car. 20-minutes from the University & Downtown restaurants and entertainment. 20-minutes to Oro Valley. Sanctuary Cove a private meditation and walking area is 10-minutes away complete with labyrinth and chapel. If you like riding horses, we can usually arrange private rides and lessons with 48-hours notice. Sunrise and Sunset Balloon Rides are popular in this area. Tucson is bicycle friendly and know for its world class restaurants. Fox Theater is very popular and affordable place to see lots of live music from Herb Alpert to Don Henley (of the Eagles) to Linda Ronstadt (a Tucson native).
Daily Hot Tub heating is availablel between the hours of 7 PM - 10 PM as a $15 / day winter energy upgrade between Oct - March.
Pool heating is a $100/day upgrade for the first 4-days and $50/day there after in winter months Oct - March. Summer heating rates are 50% off winter rates.
The views here are really spectacular and it is possible to spend a lot of time outside on the pool and upper decks just relaxing and watching the amazing and always changing desert and pool views.
