The Bacalar Lagoon, one of the most desirable tourist attractions in the area, is just outside the back door. Guests can take boat tours in the lagoon through companies such as Cielito Lindo Tours, less than a tenth of a mile away! The main city of Bacalar is just over one mile away - try a marquesita or an elote at the main square! For guests seeking a bit of history, the Fuerte de San Felipe is also just over a mile from the home. Of course, no visit is complete without a swim in Cenote de la Bruja (one-third mile away) and Cocolitos (just over one mile-and-a-half away).
