Summary: The good: A/C was POWERFUL! I never felt hot. Also, WiFi was over 100mbps; so great, great signal, especially for Mexico. Location is amazing being right across the beach. One can drink the water out of the faucet. Most employees are very nice, but not many speak English. Having a translator app on my phone proved incredibly useful. The bad: one isn’t allowed to bring guests to hotel room unless one pays a fee. I’m talking even friends for a few hours, not staying the night. The room, although spacious, was a little run down. About 1/2 the recessed were out. There’s a “kitchen” but it isn’t supposed to be used. So hotel provided ZERO plates, forks, etc. I did have 2 coffee cups and a coffee maker. Since the hotel has a bar, it’s loud between…7PM-12AM. No one is at the bar, but the music is pumping. Conclusion: would I stay here again? It wouldn’t be my first choice, but…never say never.
