Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is an old school Mexican resort style property with a restaurant on site. Short walk to the beautiful calm beach. Fairly comfortable once the room cooled off. The breakfast menu at the onsite restaurant is great and the food was really good (not complimentary).

Negative: Way overpriced for the offseason. Having to wear a bracelet the entire stay was silly. Who is going to access the property when it's 100 degrees outside? I love the Cape Region even in the summer, but this property had a sort of unwelcoming feel to it. We drove over to Los Barriles and had a great dinner at German's Terrazza, highly recommended. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room for several hours after check in. There was nothing really extra along the lines of a "resort." It's basically a hotel. "Beachfront" is a stretch. Most of the rooms are pretty far from the beach.
