Summary: Bang on what we expected. Nice location, very quiet. Looks straight out of the 1950s; shame the 50s wall-integrated radio was dead. That would have been a fun thing to have working! Main down-side was that the coffee machine in the room didn't work - nobody around to tell in the morning. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again if passing through. However, it does seriously need a revamp - be warned. If you like a throw-back, this is nice. If you want a modern hotel room with mod-cons; then avoid.
