Positive: So charming in the antique historical style of the area. We only stayed one night for my partners birthday. It was a perfect stay, we emailed ahead about his birthday in order to book dinner and we were given a free upgrade on the room. We were able to park our hire car right outside the cabin so that we could unload our luggage with ease. The room shared a large balcony with a few other rooms, plenty of outdoor seating including some wonderful outdoor swing seats that were really comfortable. The room itself was spacious and luxurious. Beautifully styled and decorated. The bathroom had a double sink, always a bonus! The room has a fridge with minibar. The pool area was in full sunshine through the afternoon and has many sun beds and tables. Umbrellas for shade too. In the evening, before dinner, we sat on the swing with a glass of wine each from the mini bar. We couldn’t believe our eyes as some alpaca moved majestically across a nearby field. Squirrels were busily working their way into the trees. Drinks before dinner was in the bar which was beautifully and tastefully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. Dinner in the Italian restaurant was superb. My partner had rack of lamb while I had pasta with crab and a lobster creamy sauce. Our server was a lovely lady who couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a perfect meal. Thankyou Linda, you’re a treasure and a great asset to Hotel Lulu
