Positive: This beautiful hotel is not only an experience because of the history it holds but the staff make the experience top notch! The location is great, walking distance to many attractions we had booked. Everything you need is within a 3-5 minutes vicinity, super market, pharmacy, eateries, bars, UPS shipping services (which we needed during our trip), and most importantly, good coffee ☕! We rented a car during the last 2 days of our trip and they took care of us with their valet service which was very convenient. There is a fee involved but worth it because parking anywhere, is expensive. The rooms are beautiful, while still maintaining that classic historical features, you have the comforts of modern amenities. The bathroom was clean and beautiful with a rain shower, the mini office was a bonus since I had some work to do on this trip, and the bed was comfortable. Some of the back pains I had when we arrived, went away. Maybe it's time to change our home mattress. They had yummy cookies at the front desk every night which was a nice treat. But mainly, the staff is super accommodating, informative and genuinely happy to have you.

Negative: There was one small factor we struggled with and that was the stairs. Because we're a little older, the lack of elevator services was a bit of a damper. We didn't mind the daily exercise but if stairs are an issue, request a ground floor room. We were on the top floor so by the time we climbed up to the 3rd floor, we were always a bit winded.
