Positive: Location to the centre of town was great. Pleasant 25-30min walk. We had some fabulous recommendations from our host, Shriaz, via whatsapp. Restaurants to eat, where to watch Sunset from etc. Spacious apartment, with good functioning kitchen and shower (with hot water). Good supermarket only a short drive away (Super Aki)

Negative: The communal rooftop pool was a cold and also not cleaned - had many floating bugs, so we decided not to use it. The room felt quite humid, but perhaps this was just the general area. The sink basin tap had poor power, so it should be looked at. The road driving into the apartment from the main road was very bad, so be extra careful. Also, there are no ramps from the road onto the parking bays outside the apartment, so again, please take time to go slowly, so the car isn't damaged! Everything is key code operated - initial communal door, and then the apartment. We forgot our phone in the apartment one day, and had no way of contacting the host. We waited for another guest to let us in through the communal door as couldn't remember the code - very lucky as there didnt seem to be many people staying at the venue and there is no concierge/reception etc. Thankfully, we remembered the apartment code so could get into apartment! Maybe the host can leave her contact details with the hotel next door incase of an emergency. We got lucky but clearly a plan B needs to be thought through incase this happens to future guests.
